My Interests

It Seems to me that most of my interests in life lean towards either the very old, or the cutting edge.

Things Old

I have an interest in medieval renaissance faires (Such as King Richard’s Faire in Carver, MA each fall.) I used to be a member of the S.C.A. (Society for Creative Anachronism) and was qualified in weapon and shield fighting in the Shire of Smoking Rocks.

Things New

I have a deep interest in the internet, computers and all related subjects. The more cutting edge, the better. I have been a resident of the net since June 1993. I have seen many interesting things, and met MANY interesting people. Ask me about havenening if/when you meet me. :-)

Music

My current musical tastes are diverse. I love alternative music. Most types. But a special place in my heart for NiN, Holy Cow, Satelite Elvis, and Jethro Tull (They USED to be considered alternative, now I guess they’re Classic Rock.)
Also love techno, trance, and tribal techno.

Drumming

This is a new obsession. I’ve made a couple of drums and use them in drumming circles. The workshops to make them is great and I highly recommend it.

Brewing

If it has sugar in it, I’ll try to ferment it. Beer, wine, hard cider, cordials, soda, and most of all, mead. Someday I’ll try making Kalish (fermented milk, yum!)
